NorsStar is located on 5 acres in southwestern Ohio between Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus.  I have been breeding German Shepherds with sound minds in sound bodies since 1981.  The hips of all breeding animals have been x-rayed and certified, either with the SV in Germany or the OFA in the US.  I have titled in AKC obedience and Schutzhund, and have also done herding work.

These dogs are German-type German Shepherds, and the best working, herding and show bloodlines are present in my breeding program.  Richly pigmented, the dogs are black & red or dark sables.  Occasionally black pups are produced.

Only 1 or 2 litters are carefully planned and bred per year.  I interview potential buyers to ensure the best fit for each puppy in its future home.  NorsStar puppies go to their new homes with health & hip guarantees, puppy starter kits and free lifetime consulting.  I want to know how each pup is getting along, and I love to get pictures!  References available.
